For advancement of Sikh faith by providing spiritual & educational resources to Sikh community various programs are run by volunteers and these include Punjabi teaching classes and Gurmat sangeet classes Punjabi Teaching : Aimed at providing basic read and write ability in Punjabi. This program focuses and encourages small and young kids to join and learn punjabi so that they can be Punjabi literate. Gurmat Sangeet : To create awareness and spread the knowledge and essence of Sikh Sacred Music these classes are run and students are introduced to various technical aspects of gurmat singing and are given hands on training in using musical instruments such as Harmonium, tabla etc. Unlike Punjabi classes this program is open to anyone of any age.
