Community Partnership
Gurmat Sikh society is always involved and eager in contributing for betterment of our community and promote public engagement, charitable fundraising. Different programs are run from time to time.
Gurunanak Trauma Center :
The community is currently actively running this program to sponsor for a Trauma center at upcoming Hospital in Grande Prairie. The community is committed for providing $300,000. Community members within Grande Prairie have decided that they will be contributing their part in next three years and also the community will be reaching out to other communities located nearby.
The management committee has decided that they would soon launch an online campaign to reach out communities that are geographically far located.
